YDS Living Village and architecture for the future: Podcast interview with Jason F. McLennan

In the new episode of the YDS “Quadcast,” living buildings pioneer Jason F. McLennan discusses Yale Divinity School’s Living Village, the relationship between religion and the environment, and his response to critics of green building.

“Facilities, especially at a divinity school, should reflect the values of the institution, the values of the people it houses, and that’s the idea here,” says McLennan, founder of the Living Buildings Challenge and a consultant to the Divinity School project.

“The Quadcast” is hosted by Emily Judd ’19 M.A.R., who is Senior Communications Specialist at the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, an international humanitarian organization supported by Pope Francis, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, and the leadership of the United Arab Emirates. She previously worked as a journalist in the Middle East.

On January 31, Jason F. McLennan delivered the Divinity School’s annual Sorensen Lecture. Read our story here.
