Groundbreaking ceremony, October 11

Yale Divinity School is hosting a series of events and celebrations on Wednesday, October 11, to celebrate the historic occasion of groundbreaking for its landmark Living Village project.

The schedule is as follows:

2:30 p.m., Panel, Built Structures and the Environmental Crisis: Building in Harmony With the Natural World, Niebuhr Hall

Panelists:

4:30 p.m. Groundbreaking ceremony and remarks, Living Village construction site; speakers to include Peter Salovey, President of Yale University, and George Bauer, who together with his wife, Carol, has been the project’s lead donor

5 p.m. Program and reception, Old Refectory; remarks by New Haven Mayor Justin Elicker
